07:00 - 07:45		Pick up from hotel in and around Chiang Mai City
07:45 - 09:15		Embark on a picturesque 90-minute journey through the rural landscapes of Chiang Mai. Revel in the beauty of mountains, rivers, paddy fields, and diverse farms and plantations that unfold along the way.
09:15 - 10:00		Upon reaching the Living Green Elephant Sanctuary, receive an orientation about the sanctuary. Following this, you'll have the opportunity to change into traditional northern clothing.
10:00 - 11:15		Meet the charming elephants and engage with these delightful creatures in their natural habitat. Offer them food and enjoy interactive moments with them.
11:15 - 12:00		Accompany the elephants to the river and observe them closely as they enjoy themselves. However, if any elephant exhibit any reluctance, such as in response to cold water, we prioritize their comfort and won't force them to enter.
12:00 - 12:45		Enjoy a delicious local meal and say goodbye to your big friends.
12:45 - 13:15		Approximately 30 min travel to Doi Inthanon National Park and explore the highest mountain in Thailand.
13:15 - 14:00		Enjoy the cool breeze and mist of the highest peak of Thailand.
14:00 - 15:00		Visit the iconic Twin Pagodas (King and Queen Pagodas) and the famous botanic garden showcasing a diverse array of flowers.
15:00 - 17:30		Embark on a trek along the acclaimed Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail, where rare wildlife and lush rice terraces await. Pause for a refreshing moment at Pha Dok Siew waterfall before exploring an organic coffee farm run by the Karen Hill tribe at Ban Mae Klang Luang
17:30 - 19:00		Depart from Doi Inthanot, travel approximately 90 min to Chiang Mai City.

For safety reasons during rainfall,  the tour may change the trekking route to Ang Ka Nature Trail.

Know before you go

• We do not recommend this tour for infants or young children, as it is a long trip that involves extended travel in a van on winding mountain roads and approximately 2 hours of trekking.
• You will take part in approximately 2 hours of trekking on slippery and uneven terrain, so please be well prepared. A reasonable level of physical fitness is required. If you prefer not to join the trek, you may skip it and wait for the group at the Karen village.
• When visiting the King and Queen’s Chedis, please dress respectfully in casual attire or better. Flip-flops are not allowed (sneakers, sports shoes, or closed shoes are acceptable). Tank tops are not permitted (T-shirts are fine), and short pants are not allowed (long jeans or trousers are acceptable).
